The Vi LaGrange Food Closet
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church has been offering food to those in need for over 30 years. If you are in need, simply call the church office and we will make sure you receive the food you need. We can also connect you with other various groups that offer support and assistance in Monroe County through United Way’s 2-1-1 service.
If you have praises, concerns or needs that require additional prayerful support, please call Kathy Knackstedt at 734-693-4529 and we will pray for YOU!
Caregiver/Grief Support Group
These caring people meet to strengthen, uplift, encourage and share with those who are caregivers and/or those who have experienced a loss. Guest speakers are regularly invited to share their expertise. The Caregiver group meets on the 3rd Monday of every month at 1:00PM.
Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance
Molly Spitler is a professionally trained counselor with the Area Agency on Aging 1B and is ready and available to help you with health benefit decisions, including Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage, supplemental insurance needs, explanation of various health plans, savings programs and long term insurance options. Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group
This important group meets in our church library on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 3:30-5PM. Enjoy a safe place to receive helpful tips, coping skills, and support for your unique situation which will help you feel more hopeful about the future. Homework Helpers Group
Help get that homework done, study for tests with a retired Bedford School teacher and other volunteers. Homework Helpers Group meets Tuesdays after school. Free snacks are provided!
